The school has two well-equipped health units, operated by 1 Full time resident doctors and two first aid specialists. Students who get ill or need medical attention are treated by the doctor, and a health record for those students is maintained.

While routine first aid is administered by the units, any emergency is referred to the nearby hospitals.

A spacious Art Room provides students with all the raw materials required to explore and express their innate talent.

Each section in the school has its own playgrounds and sports areas.

The KG section is a separate section and building with its own Kindergarten Play Area.

This separate play area provides a safe atmosphere for our young students. Soft play areas and equipment provide a variety of activities for the students to be occupied. This well-equipped and spacious area provides a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating the interests of young students during recreation time and also for specific class activities.

The Elementary School section in the girls’ section also has its own dedicated playground and sports area, which is separated from the middle and high school areas. Students are separated in time and location according to their age and grade level to guarantee a safe and peaceful time during recess and sports’ periods.

Along with academics, physical fitness is given much importance. With an eye to groom students into physically strong and mentally active members, a range of sports facilities are made available.

Sports facilities include two basketball & volleyball courts, three football fields, and one ping-pong room.

The school adopts the Next Generation Science Standards in many grade levels. Therefore, the science curriculum focuses on hands-on learning and research through experiments.

To support this curriculum, the school provides five science labs, some of which are specialized and dedicated labs for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

These labs are well-equipped with all the necessary tools and materials to conduct all the experiments required by the curriculum. Moreover, each lab is also equipped with a projector to facilitate learning.

Al-Noor International School believes that libraries play a vital role in education. Therefore, the school integrates a mandatory library period for all grade levels K-12. Students are encouraged to develop a love of reading from an early age.

The school has FOUR libraries that are well-stocked with an impressive number of titles, covering both fiction and nonfiction, resource /reference books, dailies and magazines. Our rich collection of books is updated regularly and students are encouraged to make full use of this facility. Each library is also a multi-media learning center provided with a projector and a sound system.

The KG library has been upgraded this year (2019) to include a Learning Center equipped with learning corners for English, Math, and Science. It has all the necessary learning tools such as manipulatives and abacuses.

The Elementary School Library was completely revamped in 2019. It was re-designed, re-painted, re-decorated, and supplied with a complete and new collection of reading and reference materials.

The two High School Libraries boast a wide range of books and reference materials to provide the necessary tools for middle and high school students to engage in reading and research.

In addition, the library also features an integrated ICT suite to compliment the research activities. The fully networked computers with high speed internet access are available for teachers and students to use.

ICT is an academic subject taught for all grade levels. It is also integrated throughout the curriculum as a teaching tool. The school provides FOUR ICT Labs to cater for the students’ needs. These ICT Labs provide fully networked computers with high speed internet access. Each lab is also equipped with a projector to facilitate learning.

The school network connects every department in the School and provides network and Internet access to students and teachers from all ICT laboratories, staff rooms, the library and administrative offices located in the School.

Air-conditioned classrooms, most of which are provided digital projectors to support learning in the classroom.

Teachers and students use these projectors to display teaching materials and students’ video and PowerPoint presentations.
